Multi-collision Brake

In case of an accident during which the driver's or front passenger's airbag is activated, your Octavia will engage automatic braking, even if the driver has not stepped on the brake with sufficient force. 

The speed reduction, along with intervention by driving systems (Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), braking pressure balancing), helps keep the vehicle stable and in its lane. The hazard lights and brake lights will also be illuminated, even after the braking has stopped, helping to prevent any further collisions from oncoming traffic. The driver can interrupt the multi-collision braking at any time by accelerating or braking.
