Passenger Protect Assist

Passenger Protect Assist is another simply smart feature, which detects when an emergency manoeuvre is being made and prepares the vehicle safety systems and its occupants for a possible collision. 

Passenger Protect Assist tightens front safety belts, closes electric side windows (if open) to prevent objects coming in and closes the electric sunroof (if equipped) to protect the passengers.

If no collision occurs, the electrical pre-tensioners retract and driving resumes as normal. The main goal of this feature is to minimise the consequences of an imminent accident, for example, by preparing the driver and front passenger for airbag activation.
