All Octavia Scout 4x4 come with 9 airbags as standard, this includes, driver and passenger front airbags for protection in the event of a head-on collision. Front and rear side airbags to protect the chest and pelvis of passengers in the event of side impact, a driver knee airbag, and head curtain airbags for effective cushioning of the head.

Lane Assist^ technology reduces the likelihood of your vehicle veering off the road or accidentally crossing into another lane. Using a camera positioned within the rear-view mirror unit, it actively recognises lane markings and takes corrective action by gently steering you back on course. The system is also equipped with a warning tone and message in the multi-function display for situations that require additional actions from the driver.

Safety technologies are not a substitute for the drivers responsibility of the vehicle.

​​​​Passenger Protect Assist uses information from the Scout's braking and electronic systems to recognise when there is a high chance of collision. If this is detected, the front seat belts will tighten and the sunroof (if equipped) and windows will close to help keep occupants in the optimum position for airbag deployment and reduce items flying into the car. Drivers who prefer to desensitize the Passenger Protect Assist can change these settings on their touchscreen display.

Fatigue Detection monitors the movement of the driver through the steering wheel and if the driver begins to display signs of fatigue, the car will audibly alert the driver with a tone and show a break recommendation alert on the multi-function display.
