The new ŠKODA Superb stands testament to the exciting design language from the ŠKODA VisionC design study, taking it from the drawing board to the production line. The result is a real head-turner with a sharp and muscular cut – more poised, expressive and emotionally-charged than ever before.

Crystalline elements run like a thread through the exterior and interior. The new Superb's outer surfaces have been shaped with great attention to detail. The interplay between convex and concave surfaces is startling, with clear edges, precise radii and crisp lines.

The ŠKODA designers responsible for the new Superb were set a clear task: to create a car revolutionary in terms of both technological sophistication and design.

The result of their efforts is the new Superb; a vehicle taking ŠKODA's current design language to a completely new level.

Front design

Distinctive and Powerful

Precise, authentic, dynamic — the front view of the new ŠKODA Superb is characterised by a wide radiator grille and centrally positioned logo.

Inspired by the VisionC concept car, the designers have extended the bonnet edges as far as the line that goes between the bottom and top sections of the vehicle creating a so-called "Tornado Line 360".

As a result, the front looks compact despite the variety of shapes used in it.

Rear design

Strong and Sharp

Sharp, expressive, and equally impressive — precise and horizontal lines highlight the athletic build of the new Superb.

The LED technology combined with the crystalline design elements in the distinctive C-shaped rear lights further adds to the feeling of poised elegance.

Exterior details

The stylish decorative door sill trims with the Superb inscription are a clear nod to the car’s overall blend of form and function.

Bi-Xenon headlights

The imposing lines of the bonnet are complemented by the sleek contours of the new Bi-Xenon headlights and front fog lights - their design paying homage to the tradition of Czech glass making.

Rear lights

Precise and horizontal lines highlight the athletic build of the new Superb. The LED technology combined with the crystalline design elements in the distinctive C-shaped rear lights further adds to the feeling of poised elegance.

Folding mirrors

In addition to being electrically-adjustable and heated, the door mirrors retract automatically once the car is locked. The mirrors also feature auto dimming and memory function, allowing the mirrors to automatically adjust to the setting of the driver's preference.

Panoramic sunroof

Electrically-adjustable panoramic sunroof gives you the feeling of unlimited space and freedom. The front part of the sunroof can be tilted up and slid backwards, whilst the rear part is firmly built into the roof.

Environment lights

In addition to being electrically-adjustable and heated, the door mirrors retract automatically once the car is locked. Activated upon unlocking and opening the door, the LED environment lights illuminate to help you see surroundings more clearly such as puddles.

ŠKODA designers have successfully balanced out the new Superb’s proportions, delivering harmony in width, height and length.

In terms of space, the ŠKODA Superb has been in a league of its own since its market launch. The 2,841 mm wheelbase and the tracks measuring 1,578 mm at the front and 1,566 mm at the rear markedly improve the interior space for the passenger and luggage compartments.
